Perry is a master’s level MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student qualified to practice at the Atlantic Muslim Resource Center (AMRC) under the clinical supervision of Hanaa Rashid, MEd, MSW, RSW. Perry's professional journey is deeply rooted in her passion for helping others, which began during her initial career in healthcare.
Background:
Before transitioning into psychotherapy, Perry was an internationally licensed pharmacist, where she gained extensive experience in healthcare. Her desire to make a more profound impact on people's lives led her to become a certified life coach, focusing on personal development and well-being. Driven by this passion, she decided to further her studies in psychotherapy to deepen her understanding and enhance her ability to support individuals in their mental health journeys.
Therapeutic Approach:
Perry offers counselling services in both Arabic and English, specializing in multicultural Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Her approach is client-centered and humanistic, emphasizing the unique needs and experiences of each client. She works with individuals, families, and couples, to help them navigate challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
